We are a community interest company based in Nottingham, providing supported accommodation to adults who need a stable home and consistent support around it.

Our story

Set up because the gap was obvious.

There is no shortage of people in Nottingham who could hold down a tenancy if the first six months were not so fragile. A room they can afford, a landlord who answers, someone who notices when things start slipping — those three things change outcomes.

Live Safe Housing C.I.C. was formed to provide exactly that: ordinary, decent housing paired with practical, person-centred support. We are not a care home and we are not a hostel. We are a landlord with a support function, and a support team with a front door.

Because we are a community interest company, our purpose is locked in. Any surplus is reinvested into the properties and the support we deliver. It is not distributed to shareholders, and it is not extracted to pay for an office we do not need.

Safeguarding

Everyone has the right to feel safe where they live.

Safeguarding is not a policy we point at — it is the daily practice of noticing. Our team is trained to recognise the signs of abuse, neglect, exploitation and self-neglect, and to act on them promptly.

  • Clear reporting route — any concern is recorded and escalated the same day.
  • Multi-agency working — we refer into local authority safeguarding teams and contribute to adult safeguarding enquiries.
  • Safer recruitment — checks completed before anyone works unsupervised with residents.
  • Resident-facing information — everyone is told how to raise a concern, including about us.
  • Whistleblowing taken seriously — concerns raised in good faith are protected.
